Bassist and Drummer required for solo artist gig 30/05
Hello,
My name is Lewis Jack Inman, I'm a solo musician based in Leeds.
I have a gig at The Library in Leeds Friday 30th May and I'm wanting to perform my music with a band if possible. I will leave links to my music below for you to hear and if this is of interest to you please drop me a message.
I understand this is me asking you for your time with learning the songs, rehearsals and the gig itself, it goes without saying I will have the rehearsal rooms covered! But with this being session work please let me know if there is a fee you charge and we can discuss this as I will pay if I can afford your hard work and time!
I have experience playing with bands in the past and I also have performed with a live band once before for my solo material and I really enjoyed the experience!
I just want to clarify my style as I know some artists like their songs recreated to the record from how the basslines are played to drumbeat and fills being exact. I on the other hand encourage creativity, if you come up with a groove or beat you prefer over the studio version I want to hear that, I like how live performances of songs have their own nuances compared to the studio versions! The only thing we'll follow is just the basic structure of the songs, then like I say you want to play a different bassline or change up the beat go for it, after all that's the beauty of performing as a group.
