Drummer/Band Leader wanted for gigging covers band
We're a bunch of seasoned rockers, been playing the circuit for what feels like forever. The current lineup's been gigging for a couple of years, hitting the content will be revealed after joining, it is hidden for privacy protection from bots gigs a yearalthough, let's be honest, we'd do more if we could stop binge watching Netflix. Next year? Well… only 15 gigs in the diary, but that's mainly because we're all "super busy" (a bit lazy) and no one's chasing up venues.
Here's where you come in! We're looking for a half decent drummer, yes, we're setting the bar that high. You need a good kit, be able to play to a click (we don't use click tracks yet, but we might in the future if we feel particularly adventurous). That's the easy part. The real challenge? We also need a band leader. Yep, the whole package! Someone to handle the promo stuff, book the gigs, lug the PA around… basically, be the responsible adult we all avoid being.
What's in it for you? You get a ready-to-go, semi-pro-ish band with some gigs already lined up at decent venues. Plus, you get to be the man, you know, the one who actually makes sure we show up to gigs on time.
We play rock, pop, indie, whatever gets the crowd moving. No obscure album tracks though, we're not trying to bore people to death. We're all in our 40s and 50s, but we don't care about your age as long as you can actually drum and herd this bunch of middle aged cats.
We know this is a tall order, finding a good drummer is like finding rocking horse poop, but hey, maybe you're out there. And if you've got the organisational skills of a personal assistant crossed with a drill sergeant, even better!
