Original vocalist wanted for songwriting and recording collaboration with a view to make something real.
I'm an original guitarist/songwriter with lots of gigging experience (40 male) who writes and records full compositions (guitars,bass,drums) but I need a good singer to bring these songs to life. Someone who wants to put their ideas into the music.
I can record and produce everything.
I'm based in Leighton Buzzard, have home recording equipment. We can start by just jamming out the songs in rehearsals and getting the ideas together then go ahead and record them. Intention is to make a full album. I drive so can rehearse/jam somewhere that works for both of us
Looking for someone who is creative, into alt rock, indie and doesn't mind playing a mix of heavy (no screaming) and soft melodic rock music. Age and gender not important, as long as you're talented and interested in the art of making and recording music and not just doing covers.
My sound is dark/melodic, jangly cleans and heavy fuzzy distortion.
Influences range across a variety of genres - Smashing Pumpkins (older stuff), Faith no More, Radiohead, RHCP, deftones (white pony) , Mitski, Bat for lashes, soundgarden/Chris Cornell, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, PJ Harvey, Regina Spektor, The Mysterines, Mazzy Star, the Verve, St. Vincent, Paramore, Evanescence, Marina, Manic Street Preachers, The Cranberries, The Pixies, yeah yeah yeahs, Alanis Moressette, Robyn, Roxette, Prince the list goes on and on.
