Guitarist forming 80s hair metal/hard rock originals band
Hey, my name is Tom and I am a 22 yr old guitarist from Barnsley, South Yorkshire looking to form a new originals band inspired by the music of the 80s hair metal, hard rock genre. Influences include L.A. Guns, Dokken, Lynch Mob, Motley Crue, Poison, RATT, Skid Row etc.
Got some ideas for riffs but would like to mainly start a clean slate as I've got too many. First, I'm looking for a CO GUITARIST to jam with, and build the band up from there but in the meantime, also looking for BASS DRUMS and VOCALS. Open to doing a few 80s hair metal/hard rock covers whilst we build our original sound but originals will be the priority.
Would like the band to be based in Barnsley, do weekly rehearsals and take our time to get tight as a band before we head out to gig, record and become no1 and defeat Taylor Swift (jk lol). Obviously you can tell how committed I am so would be awesome if you guys can commit and take it seriously!
