Proficient guitarist looking for new venture

Hi, I am recently back on the classifieds as my band of 8 years has come to an end. At this point I am just looking to see what's out there. I am a young 50's with extensive gigging experience. I have my own transport and good equipment. I would be looking towards playing the more challenging music genres, I like players such as Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Jeff Beck, Slash, Hendrix etc. Looking to find experienced musicians to push the bounderies of musical excellence and enjoy good music along the way. I have played in bands of most genres over the years, but would now like to play to a slightly more mature audience as the days of playing to pubs full of drunken teenagers has worn a bit thin. Dire Straits, Pink Floyd , that kind of direction ideally. Any way enough waffle, I shall now take a look through the lists and see who's about. Good luck with your searches
