Groovy Souful Indie Band Seek Drummer
Hello fellow musicians !
We are a genre crossing funky, groovy and soulful indie band (listen to our music and tell us what genre you think we fall into because we really have no idea haha!). Howard (32) plays guitar, Dom (30) plays bass, Jackie (41) sings, and last but by no means least Josh occassionally joins in on the violin. We operate under the name Lips Collide and we write and play original music (with the odd cover thrown in). We already have a full set written and ready to gig.
The very first demo we recorded was played on BBC Introducing in the Southwest back in February 2022. Validation at last!
After a lengthy haitus, due to a bereavement, we are starting to think about gigging and are looking for musicians to fulfill some band duties. Namely a drummer.
It would be ideal if any potential drummer could please send a rough phone recording of them playing along to one of the songs linked below. We are fairly casual and have very busy lives so this isn't a huge commitment nor a serious/professional project. We are however very passionate about what we do.
