We're an Exeter based duo in search of committed people to play hard rock/ metal music with. We don't have a car, so rehearsals would have to take place in Exeter.

Drummer: I'm looking forwards to playing some metal / progressive / alt metal music again! I've been playing drums on and off for about 20 years. I've gone through formal education and gradueted from a collaborator conservatory of Berkley in Greece. I've played roughly in about 30 music groups ranging from just a couple of rehearsals to dedicated weekly practice for 4 years. I've played several styles of music; jazz, funk, hiphop, rock, metal, alt metal (with female vocals), fusion, latin... However last time I've played metal in a band was more than 8 years ago. I'm a bit rusty but currently practicing on my own to get back on track!

Vocalist: I am classically trained and have many years of experience singing in choirs/ small vocal ensembles. Recently, I started working with a vocal coach to also learn more contemporary styles. I am fairly new to this style of music, but very committed to working on it with my coach and self-study beyond that. My vocal comfort zone is soprano (working on lower ranges and light distortion techniques), and I feel currently very at home in the range of Tarja Turunen/ Floor Jansen/ Amy Lee/ Lacey Sturm like vocals.

Some example pieces to gauge the style we want to play:

Done:

- Coral Crown (comp. Darrin Corb)

- Broken Pieces (Apocalyptica feat. Lacey Sturm)

- Nemo (Nightwish/ Tarja Turunen)

- Going Under (Evanescence)

Wannados (will require a bit more work to do well from the vocal side)

- Yours is an empty hope (Nightwish/ Floor Jansen)

- Special (Halestorm)
