Lead guitarist wanted for established band

We are a five piece band consisting of keys, guitar, bass, drums and lead vocals, and are looking for a lead guitarist to replace our existing person who is moving on to other things.

We are all mature experienced professionally-minded musicians and the band have been going for around 8 - 10 years. We are looking for someone who will fit in with the way we work, has previous experience (although we might be interested in someone who is especially talented but hasn't played in a band before), own gear and transport. Doubling on backing vocals would be an advantage. Our work is mainly social clubs, private parties and the occasional theatre show and gigs are mainly in the north around Sheffield and Doncaster as well as the east Lincolnshire coast, however you must be comfortable wherever our work sends us. Our material is mainly from the pop, soul and Motown genres (Covers only).

We normally only rehearse once a month however this may have to be more frequent to get the new person up to speed, but you will be expected to learn the set list at home prior to coming to rehearsals.
