Guitarist looking to try Lead vocals
Hi, I'm Tom Hughes, 24 years of age. I've been playing guitar for 15+ years, played in bands since I was 18 and I've noticed there's a lot of guitarists about, so I want to try something different and out of the ordinary for me. I've been working on singing for about 3 years now, still have some progress to make and some work to do on my voice but it's not bad these days, hopefully will continue improving as I continue to practise and I have a decent tenor range, E2 to C5 (on a good day lol)
I'm interested in hard/alt rock and heavy metal but I can't do modern really heavy stuff. No ability to do metal screaming unfortunately. I'm thinking Deftones, System of a down, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, The Smiths, Nirvana, Queen, Black sabbath, maybe some Ozzy, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Rush, Radiohead, Muse, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Who, Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance etc. may have missed some bands I like.
