Bass player seeks covers band
Hi all
I'm looking to either join an established covers band or start a new project. I have moved over to the dark side from playing lead guitar to bass? I know!! I've played in bands for many years but due to work and life in general being too busy I gave it all up around 8 or 9 years ago so getting back on the horse so to speak and practicing regularly.
Although originally a lead guitarist turned bass player I can definitely hold my own and feel band and gig ready with a lot of hard work over the past year including attention to detail and good technique picked up from playing guitar.
I'm looking to gig approx twice a month and have some really good contacts in the scene around Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield. I'm open to suggestions but generally want to cover popular music from all genres like rock, ska , Reggie etc lip up fatty, Johnny be good, run to you, ever seen the rain, could you be loved, in these arms, creep , mr bright side etc etc you get the gist.
