Band mates wanted for Pop-Punk/Post-hardcore/emo band

Hey folks,

I'm a singer, guitarist (but also can play bass keyboard and ukulele) with (20+!) years of songwriting and general musical experience.

Being a part of something, and the communal experience that music can provide is something that I've really missed the past few years, and something that I'm super keen on getting back involved with. So really looking to enjoy creating and playing music with people I enjoy hanging out with, as well as playing gigs 😊 Would love to make it a focus for my energies, but not expecting anyone to quit their day job for the first band practice 😂

Musically I have influences from all over the place, from Dashboard Confessional to Iron Maiden and Queen, but it's within the Pop-Punk, Post-hardcore and Emo realm that my songs and desired band style fits. Some favourites include: Yellowcard, Bayside, Breaking Benjamin, Saves The Day, Silverstein, Funeral for a Friend, Blink, Jimmy Eat World, Senses Fail, Set Your Goals, Taking Back Sunday, New Found Glory, Fightstar, Alkaline Trio etc. etc.

Collaborator-wise, I'm mid-late 30s, and looking for people who are passionate about music, good musicians, reliable, and, just as importantly, good people. I'm open to different lineup possibilities, co-vocals (love vocal harmonies, or someone who can scream), collaborative songwriting etc. and would definitely want to divide and conquer the other aspects that go along with being a band.

18+ as an absolute minimum, but ideally/realistically mid 20s upwards. I've become tee-total these days (boring medical reasons), but not expecting everyone else to be so (the majority of my friends drink!), but being around drugs makes me uncomfortable, and this is a hard limit for me. I'm in SW London, so no looking for anyone who lives Birmingham, Manchester etc. but obviously public transport is a thing to get around London and surrounding areas.
