[Looking for musicians] Afrobeat musicians wanted!

Hey all!

I am looking for musicians to form an afrobeat collective!

I have been writing afrobeat for a while and playing with afrobeat artists including Dele Sosimi for almost 10 years. I have moved to the area and am looking for musicians to collaborate with.

I am a guitarist (rhythm and tenor), looking for horn players, singers and a rhythm section to jam with. I don't necessarily need another guitarist, but won't complain with what I can get!

I'd like to play some Fela Kuti classics as well as some originals I have written. I work full time outside of music but interested in collaborating with other passionate musicians, interested in getting involved in the world of afrobeat, afrofunk and other funky genres! The aim would be to gig around and do festivals eventually, although I respect other people's commitments to work and other aspirations. Honestly, I want to get playing - jamming is the number one priority at the moment!
