Looking To Form A Band

Hello, my name is Luke and I am looking to form a band in the doncaster area with people in the same age range as me.

I myself am 17 and have been playing guitar for over a year and a half now and can also sing to an extent, i own both an electric and acoustic guitar.

I have many influences, name an alternative/guitar driven band and im probably a fan of them, but to narrow it down to the key ones it would be something along the lines of:

Nirvana, Blur, Weezer, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies, Bjork, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Linkin Park, White Stripes etc etc
