Looking for a Bassist
Hello hello
I'm a songwriter/composer/guitarist living in Newcastle and I'm really keen to get a new band together for 2025. I've found a drummer, a singer, keys, and other guitarist. We're still in need of a bassist!
When I was a student in Glasgow I played in an indie/alt rock group for about 3-4 years and we played all originals and gigged a lot. I moved back to Newcastle last year and I would love to get a new group together and make a mark on the North East music scene.
Some of my favourite music includes Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Beatles, The Cure, loads of nineties bands like Blur, The Verve, Pulp, Suede. Some more modern stuff I'm into at the minute are Fontaines DC, Wunderhorse, Bombay Bicycle Club
Ideally looking for people between the ages of 20 and 27 but it's not the most important thing. Would love to get on the gig scene next year and make an EP. I've got a friend who's a filmmaker who would be keen to make a music video for a single release also.
