Trombonists wanted

The Wessex Big Band are looking for trombonists to join their line-up.

We play a wide variety of classic Big Band arrangements, sprinkled with a handful of more contemporary numbers. We're an amateur band and play together for the pleasure of making great music and sharpening our music skills. We're a subscription-based, not-for-profit band with occasional gigs throughout the year.

You're welcome to come along and sit in to audition us - our rehearsals are on Thursday evenings (7:30 to 9:30pm) at Stoke-sub-Hamdon, near Yeovil, Somerset during term time. You'll need to be able to read music written in the bass clef.
