Drummer wanted,modern/classic rock,quality experienced band
Hi. Copperhead Jacks are looking for a replacement for our drummer who has chosen to step down. We are a four-piece quality band with great bass, guitar, vocals and vocal harmonies, love the entire process of getting together to play with an endlessly evolving set-list, a fairly relaxed approach to gigging meaning we aim to play live probably the content will be revealed after joining, it is hidden for privacy protection from bots times a year; pubs, events, festivals and charity fund raisers, private parties etc. but making money and being out every weekend is not the priority - we all have families and other commitments so it's all about the right events for us and gigs to have something to work towards and keep us sharp. Then again in the summer and near the festive period we could be playing 3 or 4 times a month if we wanted - the demand is there. We play everything from early Cream/Clapton, Who, Small Faces up to the usual cover fodder - Killers, Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, a bit of Mumfords, but whatever I say today will automatically be out of date by the end of the next rehearsal! That's a big part of what we enjoy - going with the flow and seeing where the music takes us. We have our own permanent rehearsing facility in Worcester Park and great live gear, we try to get together more or less weekly when schedules allow . Our venues vary between large tents, small and large pubs so a bit of versatility between acoustic and electronic kits is needed, but above all of that is bouncing off not just us but a wide community of quality musicians doing it, we feel, for all the right reasons.
