Singer wanted for collaboration
Hello! I have a small albums worth of instrumental guitar which are a little folky, some finger picking tunes, some chords, some slow, most will be accompanied by a sampler for a drum beat and I can add bass and other instruments when theyre more structured with lyrics and melodies. I'm looking for a singer to collaborate and to write melodies and sing on them, for some songs I already have an idea of what melody could work but I'm open minded to change and explore, the same for the music arrangements. I take inspiration from all forms of music but for this project it's a hip hop, folk music, indie, calm, classical style influence, a female singer would be awesome but again, happy to be surprised. Also somebody who could play another instrument. I love the likes of sandy denny, adrianna lenker, Julie Byrne, Carole king, the breath, rioghnach connolly, but yeah, open to most things. Once the songs have a lyrical structure it would be great to incorporate other instruments, acoustic drums if preferred, strings, woodwind, brass, whatever might suit. The aim of this project is to write and finish these songs then record the album in a studio and release. If interested in the sounds of this i can send over some recordings.
