Guitarist wanted for busy band
Hi, we're looking for a guitarist than can play rhythm and some lead for a rock/indie covers band. 40 gigs booked in for next year, so we need someone commited. (we've just invested 4k in a new active PA system) N Lincs based, covering from Filey to Lincoln, Louth to Stocksbridge. Ideally, someone in their mid 20s to 40s, who's got their own transport and reasonable gear. Not looking for virtuoso players, just someone who's got ability or may have only had limited live experience, but been playing to a reasonable standard for a few years and wanting to move onto something more serious. We rehearse in Winterton, sometimes weekly, mostly fortnightly. We also try and share lifts to keep fuel costs down, but we won't run around for someone, hence the need for own transport.
