Laid back lounge group needs guitarist or keys
Definitely not a wedding band. We just like playing laid back jazz, latin rhythms and entertaining unsuspecting peepz just for the hell of it. Now looking for others who feel similarly and who like hanging out together and having a good time.
Don't need to be a jazz muso, or even much of a muso at all. Just be cool and have own gear plus transport. Don't worry about age, experience, gender, age, or sexual disposition coz we really don't. Also, would be wayyy too lucky for us if you can sing backing but we're not counting on it.
So laid back doesn't mean we're unserious. We rehearse weekly at MusicBox, which is warm, clean, and lets you hire amps (if you don't want to lug your own). It also has great PA's (yay that). Definitely not into dirty garages, drafty halls, or anywhere you have to lug tons of PA to.
What are our goals - we like to do regular open mics around Cardiff and pretty much else that's fun. We'd really like to do some local festivals plus playing abroad.
