The Estimators Ska Band looking for a Trumpet/bone player
The Estimators are a well respected traditional Jamaican Ska band, based in London.
We are now looking for a trumpeter or a trombone player or a player who is equally good at playing both, to join our horn session.
We need a good player and soloist, fast learner (we play in excess of 35 songs - we do not have written music but recordings of full set) with a good knowledge and passion for traditional Ska and smart enough for our stage image. Own transport is a plus but not essential.
Please note that we need 100% commitment to our band as we work hard to find the gigs and we need to have our musicians' availability assured for Saturdays and ability to rehearse a couple of Wednesday a month. We rehearse in Holloway Road.
Please no deps or session musicians: we need someone who wants to be part of the group and well committed, not just interested in it for the money.
We are definitely not interested in musicians who are in other bands or who cannot guarantee complete commitment, as detailed above.
