DRUM MACHINE / DRUM PLAYER WANTED (ALT / NOISE ROCK)
Hi my name is Alex
I'm looking for a drum machine player to mix the kind of music I play, which is a kind of alt / noise rock, with electronic music.
If you are an acoustic drummer who can add a drum machine or a nice pad to your set you are welcome too.
I'm looking for someone who knows his/her own instrument and can play it with confidence, using metronome in studio and live too.
At the moment I've got 7 songs ready to play, one of them is an instrumental song, and many work in progress as well and obviously I would like to make songs together too.
If you can play synth as well it will be a great plus, or even using tracks of synth or noises on your drum machine to fill empty spaces.
I spend almost all my free time playing music so please, if you want to play as a Sunday afternoon hobby or just to relieve the stress you have accumulated at work during the week I'm not looking for you.
Of course I want to have fun when I play but I enjoy and have fun when I play in a good way and with people who want to do the same, building something and moving forward practice after practice.
We can practice 2,3 or 4 hours once a week
This is the link on soundcloud in which you can listen 4 of my songs recorded on my own.
I sing and play guitar ( and bass as well in one of them ) and I used a midi pad to record the drum.
Obviously the songs are thought and recorded for a classic 3 piece band (guitar/drum/bass) but at least you can have a listen and understand the way I play and the sound in general.
The name of the band is Violet Toys
