Lead guitarist looking to join or form band in Taunton area
I'm really keen to get back into playing music with other likeminded rockers. Influences on my lead style are Blackmore, Schenker, Gilmour, Hendrix, Hammett, Page, Lifeson, Akerfeldt.
Influences on my general songwriting and sound styles are rock: metal, classic, prog and punk. Would be interested in either purebred or crossover styles thereof.
I'm 50 so not expecting to be the next big thing, but I'm a good player with band/live/studio experience, can read music and got decent theory but mainly an ear/guts player. Have lots of original material but also happy playing great covers.
I have great gear, like a beer and a laugh, flexible with timings for get togethers. Pub gigs and little festivals etc a nice realistic goal!
