Starting new band

Looking to have a laugh and make a nice noise with a new band. Looking for bass, drums, singer - at the minute its just me. I'm a guitarist - been in bands off and on for years. Music I like to listen to and play includes R.E.M., Blur, The National, Lloyd Cole, Franz Ferdinand. I guess I might call that 'intelligent guitar music' - I don't know.

Very much a social thing - want to gig but not expecting to make this my job or get signed by EMI.Once a week rehearsal leading up to maybe 10 gigs a year sort of thing. I'm in Durham City area but willing to travel to other parts of NE for rehearsal.
