Guitarist Wanted to play Sterling Morrison (VU Tribute)
We are an authentic Velvet Underground live tribute project spread across Essex/London, and we are looking for a male guitarist to play the parts of Sterling Morrison, completing our lineup.
If you are a solid rhythm guitarist as well as a talented soloist and improvisor, and most importantly are passionate about VU music, please get in touch! Being an owner of a Fender Stratocaster and having your own transport would be ideal, but we do have a large Vox amplifier stack available for use at rehearsals/shows.

Since creating several tutorial videos and other VU-related content on YouTube, I have received support from around the globe, and generated a lot of interest in a potential show - a full-blown VU tribute concert, with an Andy Warhol-style multimedia light show backdrop.
Whether this would end up being a single one-off special event; a short series of events, or even something done on a repeated basis would entirely depend on the availability of the members involved, and the popularity of the event itself.
With so many fans of the band out there - almost none of which will have been around to see them live - there is undoubtedly a demand, all the project needs is good promotion, and faithful reproduction of the music.
