Male/Female RHCP Bassist Wanted to join established tribute
Fully established Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute with a booking agent and gigs in the diary, seeks new bass player, could it be YOU? [Male AND Female applicants encouraged]
Gigs all over the UK and abroad already contracted in and lined up for 2024/25. Therefore, you must be able to fly abroad and be comfortable with travel generally.
You must also have your own bass amplification, effects pedals/patchable effects device. Multiple bass guitars or strings/spares are a requirement for each gig. Your own transportation for rehearsals and shows is also required.
The ideal candidate will be someone reliable, punctual and well prepared. Someone who has plenty of attention to musical detail and a willingness to learn a large quantity of material. You will be skilled in your instrument, able to practice regularly and perform to a high standard. Finally, most important will be your acute sense of professionalism.
During the first get together at a rehearsal space (for which we will cover the studio's fee), we will warm up and play through the following five tracks to get a feel for each other:
- Around the World
- By the Way
- Californication
- Stone Cold Bush
- Aeroplane
Then we'll talk all about the Chilis, our histories/influences and sound each other out as people.
