Alt rock Bassist
Alt rock, post-rock/hardcore, shoegaze bassist.
I'm in Penarth, 42 and been searching for a band since my last one split in 2018….
Not looking to change the world but I do have a professional attitude i.e a structured rehearsal routine, booking gigs/recording/logistics, ensuring all your gear is working etc etc…..
Have played in bands all my life. Most recent had very moderate success with 6 music and KEXP playing singles, videos, Few decent shows….
Have decent equipment and own transport. Ideally, looking for a band that already has a bit of momentum behind them (songs written, already rehearsing/recording) that need a bassist to finalise the line up.
I'm into stuff like Russian circles, Brutus, part chimp, quicksand, dinosaur jr, Mogwai, Metz, jetplane landing, unwound, karate, Fugazi, jawbox, Kowloon Walled City, promise ring, girls against boys, silkworm, shiner, Jesus lizard, (earlier) jimmy eat world, get up kids, Caspian, slowdive…..
