Guitarist looking to join a band or jam etc

Im 29 and I've been playing guitar for 15+ years. I was in a band at uni and had people to jam with but I miss it quite a lot, hence this post. I'm not a theory nerd but pretty competant all round. Music I like includes: modest mouse (early stuff esp), nirvana, slint, the smiths, blur etc. Sorry can't be arsed listing loads of bands. I'm just wondering if anyone would want to jam.
