Looking to form a band again - Indie, punk, bits of ska etc
Hey, I'm looking at getting my old band off the ground again. I'm a guitarist/singer. We're called Sorry Cheryl, and play fast paced indie/punk, think the cure or the police vibes I guess. I'll put some links to our EP below, and also I'm just gonna copy our Spotify bio over. It's currently just me as the bassist moved away. Let us know if you're interested! Currently don't have transport. We played a few gigs, including HMV. Happy to change the name tbf, but it was really my passion project so I'd like to keep it if possible.
Bio:
'Hey! We're Sorry Cheryl, and we're here to blow your heads off with our chaotic blend of indie and punk. We play fast energetic music, tinged with sadness and we're not really like many other bands out there at the moment. I couldn't tell you who we sound like, and I've been thinking about it for over a year!
We independently recorded and produced our debut EP, Real Life is Overrated, and we're advocates for the DIY ethos after growing up listening to tons of fat wreck and epitaph bands. We're authentic and sincere and if you come to see us play, you'll see that we're just three guys that love to play good music.
Thanks for checking out the EP, we've been blown away by some of the positive feedback, so let us know what you think of it by finding us on socials, it makes my day just thinking that other people are enjoying our music. We're from Manchester, over in the UK so if you're local, keep an eye out for us! If you're not local, then follow us anyway and trek over to see us, I promise it'll be worth it!'
