Looking to start hobby band

Hi everyone, I'm Michael, I'm 31 and I play guitar.

I'm looking for a few musicians to get together about once a week and play for fun, just as something to do outside of work. Don't have any grand plans of recording/playing gigs but not opposed to it, if it takes off.

As I said, I play guitar and have done on and off for a few decades (not especially well), so I'd be looking for drums/bass/maybe another guitarist/someone who can sing to form a full band to jam and bring ideas along to a weekly-ish practice. Keys and any other instruments welcome too! Any experience level welcome, again this would be mainly just for fun.

I've had some success getting people together from this site before, so I know of a couple of practice spaces for hire - or if you can provide one that'd be ideal!

Not really influences as such but a few favourite bands are: Pavement, The Velvet Underground, Fugazi, Gang of Four, Pixies, The Breeders, Radiohead, Built to Spill. By no means a complete list - open to most types of music, but it'd be nice to share a few musical interests.
