Guitarists and drummer wanted for cover band with gigs
Guitarist(s) and drummer sought for female fronted pop / rock cover band. Existing members are very experienced gigging musicians and we are therefore looking for a fairly high standard of musicianship together with a friendly inclusive attitude, transport, own gear and reliability. BVs an advantage but not essential.
We have a paid festival gig in the summer which we have done previously and intend to do with the new members.
We also have offers of other gigs before and after that which we do not want to accept until we have established the new line up.
We are looking to rehearse weekly or fortnightly at the outset to get the band up to speed and then to gig several times a month with rehearsals after that just to work in any new material.
The material is quite varied and includes material by Queen, the Cure, Chaka Khan, the Eagles, Carly Simon,
Pretenders, Adele etc. open to input from new members as to the set list too.
Band members are based in Herts and Essex and currently rehearse in Baldock but we could potentially rehearse elsewhere to make it more central for everyone.
We are looking to have a get together with people for auditions from the week beginning 10th March.
(Apologies also to anyone who answered a previous advert on here and who did not get a reply etc a problem happened with the JMB account and a lot of messages were lost - probably safest to reply by email?)
