Musicians wanted

Meze Mundo is the North East premier street band. Due to retirements we need new blood! Specifically we have space for trumpet, clarinet, soprano and alto sax but could accommodate others depending.

We play joyful and lively world music which includes jazz, blues, klezmer, Latin and more. We play parties, events, festivals and street busks.

We play maybe 30 gigs per year and have much fun. We get paid for some gigs but this goes into band funds to support rehearsal expenses.

We meet to practise every Wednesday evening 7pm-9pm in a church hall in west Newcastle.
