Bass player seeking fun punk/metal covers band

Hello,

42 year old bassist looking to join/form a casual fun band doing punk or metal covers (or originals if you're desperate for a sh*tty bass player)

I've been playing bass for between one and two years so have no gigging experience but am very keen meet up and play some fun covers with some randoms with a view to getting on the gig circuit when everyone's ready. My interests lie between skate punk, ska punk and pop punk; Nofx/Bad Religion to The Story So Far/New Found Glory, hardcore to metalcore; Alexisonfire to ADTR, thrash metal to Deathcore; Metallica to Lorna Shore l and most stuff in between.

I have some experience of being in bands with friends and a short stint in a nofx cover band that didn't stick because drummers are hard to come by.

I really want to emphasise that I want to focus on just having fun and improving my skillz, but mostly having fun.

Looking to practice every 1-2 weeks in the Bristol area but would be willing to travel within reason.

Looking forward to hearing from interested folks, age/gender not important!
