Experienced Drummer looking for a Soul or Pop Band.
After a lifetime playing drums I'm looking for a band that wants to play any mix of Pop Music from the 1960s onwards, Soul Music, Americana or Blues.
I'm not interested in Metal, loud rock or punk but I do love stuff by The Beatles, The Stones, Spencer Davis, The Hollies, The Kinks, The Eagles and Poco. I enjoy playing stuff by the old Soul Artists, Blues music and instrumentals by British bands. In fact, I enjoy most of the music they play on Gold Radio or Greatest Hits Radio.
I have great equipment and good transport. My home is only 10 minutes from Durham City and I'm retired so I'm free most days and evenings. If you're interested we can easily meet to jam a few numbers and we may even end up with some gigs.
