Guitarist Wants New Band Or Collaborator
Guitarist, he/him, 39. I played in bands in my early 20s, then life happened. I tried getting a new project going earlier on this year but most of my mates are too busy with work, family etc.
Looking for like-minded people who are into Julien Baker, The Replacements, Paramore, Mannequin Pussy, We Are Scientists, Spanish Love Songs, Tegan & Sara, The Beths, Turnstile, boygenius, The Cribs.
I have a wide taste in music, so chances are that even you only like one of these artists, or similar sounding ones, we're going to get on.
I have some demos from a previous band, that I sang on out of necessity, but I'm perfectly happy to share lead or just do backing vocals.
Would love to be in a band that does originals with the occasional cover, or to work with a Julien Baker-style artist where we both bring ideas to the table. Ideally start just practicing and then look to doing gigs when we're confident enough.
No racists or bigots. Would ideally like to work with people from their late 20s to early 40s, but I'm easy going and if it works, then it works, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity etc
I'm in South Bradford but open to working with anyone around the Bradford/Leeds/Halifax/Brighouse area.
