Bass player/rhythm guitar wanted - heavy experimental grunge

Originals band seeking a dynamic bass player who can also play rhythm guitar. Our tone is heavy experimental grunge music. We are currently a two piece (singer lead guitar & drums)

The ideal person would carry phat distorted tones on both bass and guitar - so someone with a pedal setup to allow the songs to elevate explosive and trippy sections within the songs. Think Sonic Youth meets Melvins and you'll be about there with our tone. But someone who can carry a tune like Justin Chancellor (Tool).. not that we sound like Tool!

Why also Rhythm guitar? Well.. some of our tunes would appreciate a less traditional bass line approach in place of backing up the main guitar tones. If this can be achieved on Bass guitar then that is also something we are happy to explore.

Must be committed and ready to gig when we have completed our set list. Practice at least 1/2 times per week. Own gear is essential.
