Singer wanted
Heya,
Guitarist, bassist and drummer looking for a singer. We're late 20's/early 30's and live between Oxford and Berks. We all have plenty of prior experience in bands.
We've had a couple of jams and are looking for a singer to complete the line-up, then start working on originals. We have no real musical direction as of yet, but have been playing rocky/bluesy/funky stuff. I think once we have a singer we'll get a bit more direction, but for now we're taking it easy and enjoying playing together. For the right singer we'd be willing to focus on a style that suited their voice.
In terms of what we're looking for, we want someone who is a good vocalist, can write their own lyrics and isn't too much of a diva (we're all nice guys so there's room for a bit of diva-ness in the band...).
We rehearse every fortnight, and rotate between Reading, Oxford and Newbury, and will probably look to try out singers in the new year.
