Guitarist (sludge, doom, post-metal) looking for drummer
I'm a guitarist and vocalist in my mid-30s with over 20 years of gigging and playing experience. I've played festivals, released albums, EPs, and more. Now, I'm looking to start a new band.
I'm seeking a drummer passionate about heavier music—sludge, doom, hardcore, metal, and everything in between—who wants to create something with a sludge/doom foundation but is eager to push the genre in new and interesting directions.
Ideally, you have your own transport and can travel to jam sessions in Peterborough, Stevenage, Cambridge or Shefford. I'm open to any age, but it would be great if you're 25+ and can make and stick with decisions.

+ You can financially contribute to rehearsals, recordings, etc.
+ You have a decent understanding of composition and music theory.

+ You want to start a sludge/doom copycat band (there are already too many Electric Wizard sound-alikes).
+ You're primarily focused on making money. For me, this is about the music, not the money.
+ You don't have a drum kit.
The idea is that once I've found a drummer I can create music with to then seek another guitarist, bassist, singer, maybe a keyboard player? (that would be cool).
