Looking to form a Band based in Durham/Newcastle

My name is William and I'm a musician/songwriter/producer from Durham. I'm looking to form a band (already have the name!) in the Rock/Punk/Pop vein. Some of my influences are:

Green Day, Beatles, 10cc, Police, Abba, Supertramp, Cheap Trick, Roxy Music, Steely Dan & Weezer

My vision for this band would be almost a 10cc-style arrangement, in which we all write songs & collaborate, bring them to the group and audition the best ones. However, if you're not a songwriter don't be put off on this alone!

Well crafted songs/pieces of music

Strong lyrics/witty/deadpan/ironic

Non-diatonic harmony

Warm & kitsch production

“Meta” songwriting

Ideal requirements:

Own vehicle / able to travel

Drums: Own kit/breakables

I'd be looking to rehearse once every two weeks

Strong communication skills

Backing vocal ability
