Drummer wanted
Following a bizarre gardening accident, Portsmouth based band One Eyed Bob are looking for a new drummer.
About us?
We are a bunch of mature (in age) guys, who write our own music, gig a few times a year and are about to release our first album. We embrace a wide range of musical styles including rock, pop, indie, prog, grunge, ska, rock 'n' roll, ballads and we even have a few singalong crowd pleasers. No musical style is off limits. The current line up was established in 2021 and comprises of bass/vocal, guitar/vocals/keys and guitar/vocals/keys. We plan to record new material for a second album in 2025.
About you?
A competent/experienced drummer who can commit to weekly rehearsals and be happy to gig in and around the Portsmouth area. Some vocal ability would be good. A willingness to contribute to the songwriting process would be great, but not essential. Age is not important, but enthusiam for what we do, will be. Lastly, you will need a low expectation of income potential, as it is hard to get paid properly for gigs as a band playing original material.
