METALCORE band seeks DRUMMER

We're AORTA, an up-and-coming metalcore band, based between South London and Surrey. We've recently lost our drummer due to commitment issues, and are now looking for a new drummer to complete our lineup before we start gigging next year!

ABOUT US:

From early 20s to late 30s, we're united by our love for heavy, catchy tunes. This year, we released our debut songs, Fading From Inside, Bruises and Tempest (https://youtu.be/-RS5W8ckClU).

With around 40 new songs in the works, we're gearing up for an exciting future and need the right drummer to join us.

WHO WE NEED:

Skill - We're looking for someone confident in their abilities, experienced with playing to a click track, and proficient in double kick techniques.

Commitment - Our band rehearses twice a month in South London, holds weekly meetings and regularly meets up (both in-person and online) to write music. We need someone ready to commit and actively participate in the creative process.

Lyrical Support - All members contribute to songwriting, including lyrics and vocals. We're looking for someone who is not just a drummer, but also has a creative voice in our music!

Additional Skills - Familiarity with DAWs (particularly Logic) and having your own transport would be beneficial.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER:

Studio Time - Our singer works in a music studio, meaning free/discounted rehearsal rates and recording rates.

Industry links - Being connected to a studio means links into the industry.

Band Manager - We have a manager who has already been looking at gigs and tours for next year.
