Newly forming function band

So yeah basically I'm looking at putting a new function band together for events and weddings. I won't put to much here just to save a bit of time but basic info is below. Thanks for reading!

I'm a 30 y/o bassist with plenty of gigging experience and good equipment. Style wise of course nothing is really off the table as it will be covers but looking to do them all in the same sort of style. Kinda rocky/showy/exciting if that makes sense.

Would be looking to get a good repertoire of songs sorted out and practice/work on them for the rest of the year to hopefully hit the ground running after the new year. Of course as a cover band will be looking to hit the pubs as well.

I do currently DJ for events and weddings so I'm well versed in the industry but looking to get a band on the go as my last one ended a couple months ago.
