Mature bass player needed for a new blues blues/rock band
A mature bass player ideally in our age group, we are in our sixties, but if you are younger don't let that put you off.
We'd like to cover 50s 60s and 70s mainly british blues with a few rockier numbers thrown in, such artists as Led Zeppelin, Chickenshack, The Yardbirds, Rory Gallagher, BB King and more, (Yes I know I BB King's american, but I did say 'mainly british')
Early Fleetwood Mac and John Mayall too.
We would like someone with a laid back attitude and a good sense of humour, so no prima donnas or so called 'pros' this is a projeçt to mainly have fun playing music we love, with a view to doing the odd gig or two when we're ready (no time frame)
If you can do vocals too that would be terrific, but not a prerequisite, must have own gear and transport,
So here's hoping our new bass player is out there just waiting for this ad.
