Join Our Established Tribute Band as Lead Singer/Guitarist

We are a well established Eric Clapton tribute act that has been playing theatres and halls in the south east for many years. Sadly our front man and founding member (our Eric) has had to make the very difficult decision to step down from the band due to ongoing hereditary hearing loss.

So with 2025 fully booked and bookings being taken for 2026, we are seeking a new front man to take over guitar and singing duties!

About the band:

Formed in 2013, Eric and the Claptones is dedicated to celebrating the music of Eric Clapton. In 2021, with the support of a dedicated promoter/manager, the band was elevated from pub gigs to theatres and halls, building an impressive roster of venues over the past two years. Highlights include performances at the Theatre Royal Windsor and the celebrated Half Moon Putney.

Our two-hour show pays tribute to Clapton’s legendary catalog while adding our unique interpretations and arrangements. Over the years, our dedication and professionalism have established us as the UK’s leading Eric Clapton tribute act.

The band has also invested heavily in its infrastructure, from building a loyal fanbase and a comprehensive database to cultivating a strong media presence and reputation. While this personal investment has meant limited earnings thus far, it has begun to pay dividends in audience attendance and brand recognition, laying the foundation for a rewarding future.

We are looking for someone who:

- Is a dynamic guitarist and confident vocalist.

- Can captivate audiences and comfortably front a professional band.

- Excels at managing vocals, guitar, and stage presence simultaneously.

- Embraces collaboration and is committed to rehearsing, gigging, and growing with the band.

- Values being part of a musical family and enjoys having fun while delivering exceptional performances.

This role may not be suitable for someone who:

- Needs to supplement their income.

- Prioritises financial rewards over investing in the future success of the band.

Rehearsals take place in Pease Pottage (Surrey/Sussex area), so reliable transport is essential.
