00's metalcore band seeking drummer

Sup,

Figured since I'm 29 it's finally time I matured... actually naah f*ck that, it's time I gave in to my childhood and become Matt Tuck.

I've started writing some 00's metalcore tunes, and found some likeminded people to join in. Now we just need a drummer to finish off the line up.

We're trying to combine everything we love about the genre, so it's a good mix of the more poppy choruses and cheesy breakdowns of early bullet along with the longer and more progressive songforms of bands like trivium and avenged.

Happy to make the song writing a collaborative experience, right now we're taking a slower approach so we don't get too much done but as it tends to go, the faster you join, the more of an impact and contribution you'll have on the overall sound.

This collaborative approach means if you don't like something, we won't do it. That being said you also need to be able to work with us and take feedback in order to ensure what we're playing works together properly. Even if we're not completely matching what we're playing, it needs to fall onto the same groove. If we can't do that, we won't sound like a band, we'll just sound like four guys playing their instruments at the same time. It's important that we sound like a band.

We're a collection of accomplished musicians from the local scene with tonnes of experience both touring and recording, and then there's our bassist (it's always the bassist) who has a lot less experience but has already caught up to where he needs to be playing wise, so don't be too put off if you lack theory knowledge of practical experience. As long as you've got a good attitude and passion for playing we can make it work.

With that in mind please get in touch if you're interested. I tried to be concise but I have ADHD and no self control so apologies for the TED talk.

Inabit x
