London Based Alt Rock Band (currently a 3 piece of singer, bassist and drummer) looking for a new lead guitarist.

We've been working together for a bit over a year now, the band originally had a few more members, we had our first little gig last year which went great but some members didn't want to gig and we've parted ways. We'd love to find a new lead guitarist that can develop solid riffs and go off on some solos so that we can get back to getting a leg up on the London indie music scene.

We write original music that channels 00's indie rock and proper old school rock and roll, as well as modern blues, elements of post-punk and little bits of country/folk here and there. We've got a handful of fully written songs with guitar parts that can either be learnt or rewritten if you'd like to put your mark on them, and we've got a bunch that are currently in development but missing that cheeky guitar part to round out the sound. We love to collaborate together (I know you'd hope as much) so we're looking for someone equally creative that can bring ideas, develop other members' and get involved with a bit of jamming and songwriting. If you can sing at all to any level too, then that's a super great added bonus but not a dealbreaker.

We're 3 lads in our mid-late twenties. By day, I'm an actor and tutor, Sam works in music promotion (predominantly radio) and Joe's a lawyer. We all love music, want to create bangers and ballads that get the crowd moving and feeling. In our music, we like to tell stories, tell jokes, play with imagery. We're focused on great live shows with quality music, engaging crowd work and that little bit of spectacle.

And as a band, it's all love, we want to promote joy, community, diversity, mainly by having a sick old time and bringing the audience along with us. So we're looking for a person of any gender or background who's ultimately a great (or even really good) guitarist that's fun to hang with and that has similar goals to our's such as starting to gig a little bit here and there while looking to get the best songs recorded, then go from there.

If this sounds like it might be your gig, please get in touch and I can run you through some of the stuff we've already worked to see if it's your vibe or not and whether you think you could elevate it at all. Hope to hear from ya.

All the best,

Cal, Joe and Sam - ST. Jove
