Brighton rock band Fighting Colours seek new full-time bassist!
We're seeking a new bassist to join our band full-time as our current one has had to leave town. Our sound is angular, riff-driven and a bit mathy (FFO Biffy Clyro, Marmozets, Arcane Roots). We've released 3 standalone singles (2 of which have been played on BBC Introducing) and an EP, and have gigged extensively including headline shows in Brighton, support slots with Hawxx & Interlaker and an appearance at an unofficial alt Escape event last year.
We're putting the finishing touches to a new EP and have planned a gig to mark our 5th anniversary as a band very soon.
The ideal bassist will:
-Be able to provide their own gear
-Be able to accurately play parts for preexisting songs and write their own parts for new ones
-Be willing to get involved with admin, organisation and new music/gig promotion
Being able to sing backing vocals, while not essential, would also be a bonus!
