Manchester Thrash/groove/death metal band needs vocalist
Hey all,
My metal band 'Judgement' is looking for a new vocalist.
I (guitarist) have been filling vocal duties for a while now, but I think its time we stepped it up and got a proper dedicated vocalist.
The band is a blend of thrash, groove, and death metal primarily. We draw from a lot of different unfluences, if I absolutely had to narrow it down it'd be Lamb of God, Gojira, Megadeth, Testament and Powertrip.
We'd be looking for a vocalist who can:
1. Do deep gutterals a-la Joe Duplantier of Gojira, or Randy Blythe of Lamb of God
2. Do growly singing vocals like James Hetfield, Dave mustaine or Chuck Billy of Testament.
3. Be able to do shouty vocals like Riley Gale of Powertrip, or Tom Araya of Slayer
4. We don't do cleans. We're not really fans of core genres, and not fans of clean vocals in metal in general. This is the one thing that is a hard no from us, sorry.
Obviously you don't have to fit all the criteria, even if you fit one that would probably be good enough for us, but the more versatile you are the better, as we really do like exploring different sounds and styles.
We'd be sending a couple MP3s of some songs that don't have lyrics yet, and if you could record over them and send us back that'd give us a good idea of what you'd bring to the band.
We have one single called 'Habitual' out on Spotify that gives you at least some idea of our music, though we do have a lot more material than that that's currently in the pipeline.
DM if interested.
Thanks,
Matthew
