BACKING VOCALIST REQUIRED FOR BUSY OX/BUCKS PARTY BAND

CAMINO is a busy and popular 5 piece covers band, based in the OX/Bucks borders near Chinnor/Princes Risborough.

We are primarily a private party & functions band, but also love doing shorter sets at local Festival events.

Our music has 3 distinct strands:

- Classic 'Harmonic Rock' & Pop - from Artists including Stevie Nicks, Shania Twain, Linda Ronstadt, Alanis Morissette, Carley Simon, Cher, Fleetwood Mac, The Doobie Brothers, Simply Red and Elton John.

- Classic 60's Motown / Stax / Phili Soul - from Artists including Stevie Wonder, Martha Reeves, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, The Four Seasons and Wilson Picket

- Classic 70's Disco - from Artists including Chic, Randy Crawford, The Trammps, Rose Royce and A Taste Of Honey.

We're looking for a committed female harmony backing vocalist to work alongside our female Lead Vocalist. Our songs have a significant harmony vocal content, so this will be a busy and rewarding role.

The band is not a living for us, but it’s something we love doing and take very seriously. On average, we gig once a month, ramping up during the Summer Festival season. We need someone who’s available to rehearse regularly – our usual slot being Monday evening. Rehearsals take place in Bledlow Ridge, Bucks, near Chinnor / Princes Risborough.

Age is not an issue for us, but we do need someone who has a good grasp of harmony plus some experience of live performance. Above all, we're after someone who shares our love of the music we play!
