Seeking senior guitarist, keyboards player and vocalist!
Ok - here's the bottom line. We are a bass player and drummer in our senior years. Been there, done it 'and' worn the t-shirt many times. We've been in, or had, many bands but now we're at the stage where forming a band to gig every weekend is just too much hassle! But - we love to play and we're very active.
So we'd love to find a guitarist (or maybe even two!), a keyboard player and a vocalist - or any combination thereof, just to get together occasionally and play. Whatever happens, happens but if no gigs come about, that's fine by us - just a relaxed time in the Milton Keynes area simply for the enjoyment of playing.
We tend to veer towards country rock, but don't discount anything other than funk and thrash metal (oh, and jazz - definitely not jazz)! Yes - our musical preferences start from the 50's and tend to finish around the turn of the century (unless it's country rock which is still coming out with great songs) - but that's not set in stone. Egos are always left at the door.
