Guitarist needed for high energy cover band
Hello!
I need guitarist for a high energy, tight, modern cover band focussing on 90s, 2000s and 2010s pop and rock. Think Britney, Justin Timberlake, No Doubt, Girls Aloud, Foo Fighters, RHCPs. Basically the opposite of the tired old cover band trope, with music that people in their 20s, 30s and 40s know and love!
The songs will need reworking and be done to a high standard, so decent technical ability, reliability and desire to be a part of something really well put together are key.
Currently have a drummer and singer/keys player interested, and myself on bass, so guitar to complete the lineup would be great. Probably suits a rock guitarist quite well, as rocking the songs up is a likely route to making them work live.
Gig wise, the probably 1/2 a month with a focus on quality over quantity is the approach. All members have full time jobs so don't want it to be a full time band, that said, that doesn't mean it can't be extremely tight, well done, and play fantastic gigs!
